Too busy to write? Not really

Ha!

I realize that I have not written anything ever since I started working. Well here are the excuses: Starting a new job and lots to learn, nothing too exciting going on, and exam pressure. Well let's talk about exam pressure first: I have been either studying or wasting time worrying not being studying. True thing is I haven't done that much and really hope to pass this 6-hours exam coming in three weeks. Mmmm..now I am getting anxious (again!)

About my new job: I will not disclose too many details here, but I really like my team. Colleagues are very nice and friendly, a blend of interesting people, most importantly, barely any politics going on..if you know me you know that my least favorite thing is to have people scheming against me. But very fortunately so far everything is at peace. Niels took a pic of me with my 3-screen Bloomberg terminal, I might post it here later :D .

Any thing exciting in my life at the moment? I did recently just graduate with my master degree! :) Not to brag but very happy to get my master sorted out at the age of 22! :P Ok to some people this comes off as nerdy and not enjoying life enough, oh well...

My parents came to the Netherlands first, and then we flew together to the good'n'old Cambridge. The ceremony was not as exciting as many that I saw on TV, but definitely it was a divine moment: The vice-chancellor of the university, dressed up in a red furry gown, held my hands between his palms after I knelt down in front of him, and he blessed me in the name of the holy trinity and granted me the degree. As for me, I was dressed in my academic gown and I am pretty sure he smiled back at me.

If you are imagining Hermione Granger and Dumbledore, yes you're on the right direction!

Okay forget what I just said..it was the HP die-hard fan talk..

Things I look forward to in the coming days:
1. Pass the exam
2. Celebrate Sintaklaas (surprisingly for the first time ever)
3. Go to Dusseldorf Christmas Market with Niels
4. Fly home and see my grandparents!!
5. Watch Victoria's Secret annual fashion show (I will have a special post about this one, I promise :P)
